Ready to push your startup out of the blocks?

The NYU Entrepreneurial Institute and InnoVention Society are offering you an opportunity to find teammates or join a startup team for two upcoming programs:

•  J-Term Startup Sprint is a two-week intensive program for NYU entrepreneurs (undergrads, grad students, and postdocs) to experiment, learn from customers, and receive expert startup training and coaching along the way.

• InnoVention Competition is a startup competition that challenges NYU students from across the globe to prototype, build a team and pitch commercially viable ideas to solve real-world problems.

Join us for a team meet and greet and get off to a running start in advance of the application deadlines!

Program Details

J-Term Startup Sprint

Each team accepted into the Startup Sprint will receive a $350 grant, $5,000 in credits on Amazon Web Services (AWS), training, coaching and the connections you'll need to help get your startup going! The top two to three teams out of the program will be eligible to receive $1,000-$3,000 in continued grant funding, and guaranteed interviews for the NYU Summer Launchpad accelerator 2018 cohort.

Program Dates: J-Term Startup Sprint runs all day Monday through Friday, January 8 - 19, 2018.

PLEASE NOTE: This opportunity is only open to current NYU students. Your NYU ID is required at check-in. This program is NOT for credit. However, (just like a startup) it REQUIRES full-time commitment during the length of the program (40+ hours a week from all core team founders).

InnoVention Competition

During the 10-week competition, 12 teams are selected to receive legal services, mentorship, perks, and individualized attention focusing on product development & team growth. To support each team, the program awards $500 prototyping grants for each stage as well as prize money of $50,000 to the top 3 ventures.

Program Dates: InnoVention Competition from January 29th to May 3rd.
